F W Harvey Yorkley Walk to Pillowell
Geoff, Marie and Steve read appropriate poems at locations on the Yorkley walk.

The launch of the new edition of “In Pillowell Woods” written by F W Harvey and produced by the F W Harvey Society wil be at a concert by Pillowell Singers on July 8th.
2018 A.G.M. and songs with Jan and Doug
Following the A.G.M. Jan Bayliss and Doug Mclean played a selection of songs inspired by Will Harvey’s poems.

A Forest Offering
Recently the society produced a new edition of “Forest Offering” a collection of some of Will Harvey’s unpublished poems.
Copies are now available for a modest price for members of the society, use the form on the contact page to check availability.
Ducks chosen by York Notes for 2018-2019 year.
York Notes are used throughout the UK and are well established experts of teaching and learning resources.
They are known for excellence and are respected as approved educational text for all schools at all levels.
This year York Notes have requested and included the poem, “Ducks” by FW Harvey for the year 2018/2019.
It was chosen as an example of English Poetry for children aged between 7 – 11 years. This was chosen as a SATs practice Reading Paper (page 19 – 21)
